I co-founded MORE Technologies in 2018 and served as COO until its acquisition by Sphero in March of 2021. MORE Tech was an EdTech company on a mission to make K12 STEM education more effective and accessible with its flagship product, MOREbot.

MOREbot is a 3D printable robotics and prototyping platform designed to teach students to go beyond an assembly manual and create tech, not just consume it -- developing real world skills in 3D modeling, coding and engineering design along the way.

My Role

As the only non-technical co-founder, I oversaw all non-technical work including Biz Dev, Sales, Marketing, Fundraising and Operations. Although my background before starting the company was mostly non-technical, I became increasingly technical to fill in various gaps including designing and developing our website and tutorial management software (MakerPlace). Highlights:

• Formulated company vision, goals and objectives
• Co-designed and built MakerPlace, an online social learning platform for educational content and classroom management tools for educators
• Designed all digital branding assets for apps, marketing and packaging
• Worked alongside the engineering team to develop new products that students loved and made teachers lives easier
• Managed a successful Kickstarter campaign
• Raised 6-figures in investment
